Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the OTTTV IPTV subscription service. They are written to be read — if a rule affects your money or your access, it is stated at the top of its section.

Welcome to OTTTV ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our IPTV subscription service at https://otttv.ca ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

1. Service description

OTTTV provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service that delivers live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription. The scope of the line-up is described on our channels page.

2. Account registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete and current information when you order.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in Canada, to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Subscription plans & payment

OTTTV offers subscription plans of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, plus a discounted introductory 1-month plan for new customers. Current prices for all plans are displayed on our pricing page and at checkout.

  • All prices are shown and charged in Canadian dollars.
  • Subscriptions are activated once payment is confirmed and credentials are delivered.
  • Payments are processed securely. OTTTV does not store payment card details.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Nothing is charged again unless you place a new order.

4. Refund policy

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service delivers immediate digital access:

  • No refunds are issued after account activation.
  • Exceptions apply only where: (a) a verified service outage exceeds 72 consecutive hours, in which case a pro-rata credit may be issued; or (b) a duplicate charge is confirmed, which is refunded in full.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must not:

  • Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your account credentials to any third party.
  • Use the Service to broadcast, publicly display or re-stream content.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
  • Use the Service to access content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Breach of this section results in immediate termination without refund. Legitimate resale is available only through our reseller programme.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time, and this limit is enforced server-side. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; OTTTV does not provide support for third-party applications. Installation instructions are published in our setup guide.

7. Service availability

OTTTV strives to maintain 99.9% uptime. We do not, however, guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance, announced in advance where possible
  • Unplanned technical issues
  • Disruption at third-party content providers
  • Force majeure events

OTTTV is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the Service — live channels, video-on-demand titles, logos and EPG data — remains the property of the respective rights holders and licensors. OTTTV claims no ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The OTTTV name, logo and website design are our property and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by writing to [email protected]; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OTTTV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be published at https://otttv.ca/terms.html with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
